When I created a WCF Service and WCF client using wsHttpBinding, I am able to add Service reference and it added properly.
Similarly,
When I tried using netTcpBinding, I am NOT able to add Service reference.
It is giving error :
Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved

If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again.
